Why Not Cakes was born from a simple craving and a big dream. When we moved to Whitehorse, we quickly realized how hard it was to find delicious eggless desserts that matched our vegetarian lifestyle. Instead of settling, we decided to create our own.
Baking has always been close to my heart. With training and inspiration from back home, I spent years making cakes and treats for friends and family, sharing flavors made with love. Along the way, I discovered that many people in our community were also searching for desserts free from dairy, eggs, or gluten—whether for dietary needs, allergies, or personal choices.
That’s when Why Not Cakes became more than a dream. It became a way to bring inclusive, handcrafted baked goods to Whitehorse—treats that everyone can enjoy without compromise.
